When you click on any load, you'll see a few different options on how to book this load. The 4 options to book a load are:
- Book on broker website
- Call broker
- Email broker
- Book Now / instant book
Each load will have at least 1 of the options above. This varies by broker and by load. Here is a short demo video on the first 3 booking options.
Your booking is NOT confirmed until you receive the rate confirmation. You may mark a load as "Booked" in the CloudTrucks app, but this is for your invoicing, business management, and recordkeeping purposes. Your ratecon is your proof that you've booked with the broker.
Our booking options
1. Book on broker website
Most loads will include a link to book directly on the broker's website. Click on "Book on XYZ". This link will take you directly to the broker website and to this specific load.
You will need to log in to that broker portal with your credentials. If you do not have an account with that broker yet, you will need to create a new account and make sure you're approved to book loads. You only need to create an account and sign in once!
Remember, your booking is NOT confirmed until you receive the rate confirmation with your driver info from the broker.
2. Call broker
Many brokers will include their phone number and extension number in the load. This makes it easy for you to call and book a load quickly. Click on "Contact Broker".
You'll then see an option to call this broker. Here, you can click "Call Broker" and we will send you directly to the extension number listed. Give the representative the Broker Load ID to inquire, negotiate, and book this load.

3. Email broker
Some brokers will have their email address only, or include it with their phone number. This is a great way to ask for more information if a broker is not responding to calls. Click on "Contact Broker". Then click on "Copy Email Draft".
After you click on "Copy Email Draft", you'll see this email template pop up. We have created these emails for you, and automatically included the broker load ID, your MC number, and your driver name. This makes it much faster to send out every email!

4. Book Now / Instant Booking
A few brokers allow Instant Book loads. Instant Book means that you agree to haul this load at the listed price. This option is great for drivers who are looking to book a load quickly without negotiating and back-and-forth communication.
You can find these loads by going into your search bar, go to "Booking Type & Source" > select "Instant Book" only.
When you click on an Instant Book load, you'll see a booking option that says "Book Now". After clicking this and assigning a load to your driver, you will receive a rate confirmation.
